    It was started to build in late Soviet period (1985-1988) as part of "Intourist" complex, but unfinished due financial problems. Since November 2015 it is private possession and the building probably will be taken down soon.

    i was in vilnius and i took a picture of the mosque but it was closed , i was with my wife ( she converte to islam ) . well i would like to visite kaunas mosque next time . its a nice country
